Creating long-lasting objects, produced locally and sustainably: this mission unites the six Swiss design brands and manufacturers that feature in this exhibition. In fact, all lighting and furniture products on display were designed using as little material and resources as possible. Saving resources is also the driving force behind the exhibition. Reusable standard aluminium sheets are distributed throughout the three dimensions of the area, forming a spatial composition that separates the different projects whilst contributing to a shared sense of unity. The six brands are shown both individually, displayed on a catwalk of recycled rubber, and together, inside an imaginary room setting where contemporary living marries classic Swiss design.
